How to Resend Old Estimates and Reorder from Quote History in InfoFlo Print MIS

In a fast-paced print shop, customers often revisit previous quotes or change their minds after an estimate has already been accepted. Instead of recreating the estimate from scratch, your Print MIS software makes it easy to resend old estimates and generate reorders with a few simple clicks.

Here’s how you can streamline your workflow and ensure pricing consistency with this helpful feature.

Why You Might Need to Resend an Estimate

Imagine this: your customer receives a quote and approves only part of it. Later, they call you back asking about one of the original items they didn’t move forward with. They want to place an order now—but also want to know if you’ll still honor the pricing.

Rather than digging through emails or trying to remember the details, you can simply access the original estimate right from the job’s audit history.

Step-by-Step: How to Reorder from an Old Estimate

  • Open the Job Order
Go to the job that was previously quoted and click the Action button next to it.

  • Access the Order Timeline
Select “Go to Order Timeline.” This opens the audit history, showing a complete trail of activity—newest actions on top, oldest at the bottom.

  • Find the Original Estimate
Scroll to the bottom and click the clock icon labeled “Show Order History.” This brings up the original quote details.

  • Choose Your Action
From this screen, you can either:

    • Click “Create New Estimate” to generate a fresh quote using old data.

    • Click “Reorder” to begin a new order with previously quoted specs and pricing.

  • Edit as Needed
You can now remove fulfilled items, adjust quantities, or update specs. Once you’re done, click “Pre Order” to finalize.

Key Benefits

  • Time-Saving: No need to re-enter item specs or pricing.

  • Accuracy: Pulls directly from historical records.

  • Consistency: Maintains original pricing for customer transparency.

  • Flexibility: Modify items, specs, and quantities on the fly.

Final Thoughts

The “resend estimate” and “reorder” features in your Print MIS system help you better serve customers, especially those returning with delayed or partial decisions. With a clear audit trail and smart reuse of previous data, you’ll spend less time managing repeat orders and more time growing your print business.
