How to Add Previously Ordered Items to a New Order in InfoFlo Print
Managing reorders is now faster and more efficient with the “Previously Ordered Items” button in your Print MIS software. This powerful feature allows you to add products from past orders directly into a new order with just a few clicks. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to use this feature effectively and what to watch out for.
Step-by-Step: How to Add Items from a Previous Order
-
Start a New Order
Begin by creating a new order from the workflow screen. You’ll see a new button labeled “Previously Ordered Items.” -
Select a Customer with Past Orders
For the button to appear, you must select a customer who has placed previous orders. If the selected contact has no order history, the button will not display. -
Choose Items from Past Orders
After selecting an eligible customer, click on the “Previously Ordered Items” button. A list of all their previously ordered items will appear—complete with descriptions, pricing, and previews. -
Add to Current Order
Simply check the items you wish to include in the new order and click Submit. The selected items will be added automatically.
Important Notes on Contact and Company Selection
-
If a contact is linked to multiple companies, make sure you’re selecting the company that placed the previous orders.
-
If the wrong company is selected, the “Previously Ordered Items” feature won’t populate any data—even if the contact has ordered through a different linked company.
Why Use the “Previously Ordered Items” Feature?
-
Faster Reordering: Eliminate the need to manually re-enter product details.
-
Accurate Repeat Orders: Pull exact item descriptions, names, and pricing from past orders.
-
Improved Workflow: Save time and reduce entry errors.
Final Thoughts
This reorder functionality in your Print MIS system ensures a smooth and error-free reordering experience. Always confirm that your customer has prior orders and that the correct company is selected to make the most of this helpful feature.
